A 32-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in both legs on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of South Michigan Avenue.
According to CBS News Chicago, the victim was inside an alley in the Bronzeville neighborhood when an unknown gunman opened fire.

The unidentified shooter struck the man in both of his legs during the encounter.
Emergency responders transported the victim to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment.
Medical staff currently list the man in good condition.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
Area 1 detectives are leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
