Who is Lil Wop?

Lil Wop, born Louis McPherson on October 17, 1995, is a Chicago-born rapper known for his dark, horror-inspired rap style.

He was previously signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records and gained recognition for his eerie sound and unique delivery.

In February 2022, Lil Wop publicly identified as bisexual through an Instagram post. Amid speculation regarding his sexuality, he later addressed the topic in an interview with internet personality DJ Smallz Eyes, asserting that he identified as a straight man.

By August 2023, Wop announced that he no longer planned to transition.

However, on January 27, 2025, the rapper appeared to reaffirm their gender identity in an Instagram comment, correcting a follower’s pronoun usage by stating, “[I’m a girl].”

Authorities have not released further details regarding his legal status or potential charges.
