Recently, the gospel music community has been buzzing with controversy surrounding popular musician Alaseyori. Gospel singer Funke Glorious has accused Alaseyori of stealing her song and claimed that this is not the first time her colleague has been caught in the act. According to Funke Glorious, Alaseyori has a history of taking songs from their colleagues and pretending to be innocent.
Despite the allegations, Alaseyori has not yet responded to the accusations. In another video that has since gone viral, Funke Glorious apologized for using profane language in her initial video to accuse Alaseyori. However, she did not retract the allegation, and instead blamed her harsh words on “anger.”
It is worth noting that the song in question, “Oniduro Mi,” was originally composed and performed by gospel singer Toluwalase Adelegan. Alaseyori is credited with popularizing the song, but some have accused her of failing to give credit to her older colleague. The controversy has sparked a debate within the gospel music industry about the importance of giving proper credit and recognition to fellow musicians.
