Chicago Police have officially charged a 21-year-old man in connection with a violent robbery in the Rosemoor neighborhood.
Authorities arrested Dylan Longstreet on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers took him into custody in the 6700 block of South Constance Avenue.
Police identified Longstreet as one of the people responsible for a January 31st attack.
The crime happened in the 10000 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue.
During that incident, a 23-year-old man was targeted at gunpoint.
The offenders stole the victim’s property before fleeing the scene.
Longstreet now faces several serious felony charges.
These include one count of armed robbery with a firearm.
He also faces one felony count of unlawful vehicular invasion.
Prosecutors added a charge for aggravated unlawful use of a loaded weapon.
Additionally, police say they found Longstreet in possession of a controlled substance.
The suspect is scheduled for a detention hearing today at the Leighton Criminal Court Building.
No other suspects have been named by the police at this time.
