1. Omu Resort

Omu Resort is located in a rainforest area, which allows visitors to experience and be inspired by the magnificence of nature. 

Embedded in a friendly neighbourhood, Omu occupies approximately 22 hectares of land and is boarded to the north by the looming waters of Omu Creek. It is one of the best zoo centers in Lagos.

Location: Bogije Town, Close To Lakowe Lake Golf Course, Ibeju Lekki. 

Opening hours: Mondays – Saturdays 9 am – 6 pm | Sundays 12 pm – 6 pm.

QBrat Zoo is located in the serene Araromi Ale town close to Okoafo. It was built as a home for animals bred in captivity.

Regarded by many as one of the best zoos in Lagos, QBrat spans five hectares of the old Ologe Forest Reserve. Its topography includes woodlands, swamps, and a developed section. The zoo is fenced which guarantees visitor’s safety.

Location: Ologe Forest Reserve, Araromi Ale, Near Oko Afo, Badagry, Lagos state.

5. Fish Aqua Zoo

Fish Aqua Zoo is a conservatory where fish and other aquatic animals are bred and displayed. They have more than 300 species of sea life like sharks, snakes, crabs, crocodiles, turtles, etc.

Aqua Zoo is a nice place to have fun and learn, especially for children. Schools can take up to 100 (only) students here, as the place is secured and strictly maintains health practices. Additionally, every pupil may go home with a complementary aquarium that contains live bearer fishes.

6. Lekki Conservation Centre

Lekki Conservation Centre was set up as a plant and animal protection program between the 

Nigerian Conservation Foundation and Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative.

LCC spans 190 acres of land bordered by the Lekki Lagoon. The program exists to preserve and protect endangered species in Nigeria from going extinct. Lekki Conservation is one of the zoo centers in Lagos to visit if you wish to observe rare birds and animals.

Location: KM 19, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lekki Peninsula II, Lekki.

Opening hours: Mondays – Sundays  8 am – 6 pm.

Green Fingers Conservation AKA Green Fingers Sanctuary has its mission’s core in line with the Sustainable Development Goals 11,13,14 and 15.

The Sanctuary exists to protect and conserve wildlife, while also spreading awareness and education about the importance of our natural world. Green Fingers believes that every person is significant in the fight against habitat destruction, climate change, and wildlife extinction.

Location: 10 Emmanuel Iroabuchi Street, Thera-Annex Estate, Off Lekki-Epe, Express Way, Lagos.
