Staying Safe: Community Awareness Tips
Residents should prioritize personal security when navigating city streets during late-night or early-morning hours.
Always remain aware of your surroundings when stopping at gas stations, especially in the pre-dawn darkness.
If you encounter an injured person or suspicious activity, call 911 immediately and remain in a safe, public location until law enforcement arrives.
Whenever possible, try to fuel your vehicle at well-lit, high-traffic stations and keep your mobile phone charged and accessible.
Do not attempt to intervene in potential crime scenes; your safety is the top priority for first responders.
