A 36-year-old man is dead following a shooting in the Roseland community late Saturday night.
Officers responded to the scene near Abbott Park at 95th and State streets shortly before 10 p.m.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported the man to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Medical staff at the hospital pronounced the man dead a short time later.
The shooter fled the scene on foot immediately after the attack.
Witnesses told authorities the suspect ran in a northerly direction toward 95th Street.
Detectives with the Calumet Area division are currently leading the investigation.
No suspects are in custody as of Sunday morning.
