A Saturday afternoon in Logan Square turned deadly when a teenager was shot inside a residence.
The victim has been identified as 17-year-old Antaz D. Lambert.
Lambert was a young Chicago rapper known by his stage name, “LilSplat.”
The shooting occurred in the 1900 block of North St. Louis Avenue.

Police responded to the scene at approximately 1:27 p.m.
Lambert was inside a bedroom when the gunfire broke out.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Emergency responders rushed the teenager to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Medical staff later pronounced him dead at the facility.
Authorities confirmed that an unknown offender fired the fatal shot.
As of Sunday morning, no suspects have been placed in custody.
