A 7-year-old boy is in serious condition after another child accidentally shot him inside a Northwest Side home on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred just after 7 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Division Street in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
According to the Chicago Police (CPD), an 8-year-old boy found a firearm inside the residence and discharged it, striking the 7-year-old.
