ROBBINS, IL — A 30-year-old Chicago man is in custody after allegedly stabbing another man during a fight in south suburban Robbins last week.
The incident began around 6:40 p.m. on December 26.
Robbins Police called in Cook County Sheriff’s detectives to investigate a stabbing near the 13000 block of Grace Avenue.
According to investigators, Brian Davis pulled out a pocketknife and stabbed a 35-year-old man multiple times during a physical altercation.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital; his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Davis, who lives in the 3500 block of 80th Street in Chicago, was also treated for a minor cut on his hand.
On December 28, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office approved two felony charges against Davis:

Aggravated Battery (Great Bodily Harm)
Davis appeared at the Markham Courthouse on December 29 and was ordered to remain in the Cook County Jail.
