He has made six appearances in the league, and he impressed in the clash against AEK Athens to further endear himself to the club’s fans.

The title was Olympiacos 48th Greek League title, and they have won it with three matches to go after holding an unassailable lead of 10 points.

They will be eyeing a domestic double ahead of the Greek Cup final against OFI on 17 May.

It was Onyemaechi’s first-ever league title in his professional career.

He made his Super Eagles debut against Sao Tome, and Principe in the final group match of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Onyemaechi was also part of the Super Eagles squad that won the silver medal in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
