Cristiano dos Santos, the eldest son of Cristiano Ronaldo, was called up to the Portugal Under-15 squad for the first time on Tuesday.
The 14-year-old currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia while representing the likes of Manchester United, and Juventus just like his father.
He has been invited to be part of the Portugal U-15 team’s clash with will Japan, Greece and England at the Vlatko Markovic youth tournament in Croatia between May 13-18.
Cristiano dos Santos is set to follow in his father’s footsteps by representing Portugal.
Ronaldo also started his international career with the Portugal U-15 team in 2001, scoring seven goals in nine matches before graduating to the U-17 level.
He also represented Portugal at the U-20, U21, and the U-23 levels before making his debut for the senior team in 2003 as an 18-year-old against Kazakhstan.
At the age of 21 years and 132 days, Ronaldo became the youngest ever goalscorer for Portugal at a World Cup finals.
In 2016, Ronaldo led Portugal to their first-ever trophy at the UEFA Euro 2016.
