Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to Al-Nassr’s Asian Champions League exit in the hands of Kawasaki Frontale on Wednesday to end the 2024-25 season trophyless.
Al Nassr suffered a 3-2 defeat to Kawasaki Frontale in a single-leg semifinal to crash out of the competition.
Kawasaki took the lead in the 10th minute as Tatsuya broke the deadlock with a powerful volley.
Mane equalised for Al Nassr in the 28th minute from Nawaf Boushal’s pass.
Ronaldo missed the chance to give them the lead with a mistimed header in the 33rd minute.

The 40-year-old took to social media to praise his team despite their 3-2 defeat.
Ronaldo wrote on X: : “Sometimes the dream has to wait. I’m proud of this team and everything we gave on the pitch.
“Thank you to all the fans who believed in us and stood by us every step of the way. Your support means the world.”
Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in 2022 after leaving Manchester United.
He is currently the club’s top scorer with 31 goals in all competitions.
Up next for Al Nassr is a home clash against Al Ittihad on Wednesday in the Saudi Pro League.
