Samuel Akinade Badekale, a student from the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics, has emerged as one of the best-graduating students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Alongside his peer, Damilare Haroon Adebakin, Badekale graduated with a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.00.
At UNILAG’s 55th convocation ceremony, Badekale’s exceptional achievement was celebrated as he received multiple awards and set a remarkable academic record.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share his joy, he expressed gratitude to God and highlighted the importance of perseverance and faith.
He wrote, “This is a testament that dreams come true! B.Sc Cell Biology and Genetics with perfect CGPA (5.00/5.00)
