A viral video circulating on social media shows a man slapping a Nando’s employee with a plate while she served food.
The incident reportedly happened in March.
“it happened back in march so seeing it resurface is crazy” The victim said.
The video captures a family seated at a corner table, waiting for their meal. Moments later, a waitress approaches to serve their order.
As she places a plate on the table, the man suddenly picks up an empty plate next to him and smashes it into her face. The motive behind the assault remains unclear.
The Nando’s employee involved, known as @zahra_etc on X (formerly Twitter), responded to the video on social media.
She revealed that police were present during the incident but did nothing to intervene.
She stated, “The police were present at the time, I reported it to them, and they let him go without taking his details or checking the CCTV. I filed a complaint against the officers, and their supervisor responded by saying, ‘They’re humans and made a mistake.'”
