The Father of Barcelona’s new kid on the block, Lamine Yamal has been spotted with a Real Madrid jersey celebrating with their fans.
In the picture, Mounir Nasraoui, Yamal’s Father of was seen celebrating with Real Madrid fans after in 2022, sparking rumours of his connection to Barcelona’s arch-rivals.
A video is also trending on Tik-tok, where Mounir is seen dressed in Real Madrid’s jersey from head-to-toe after Ancelotti’s team 3-1 win over Barcelona in 2022
The fan who posted it wrote: “Today I realized Lamine Yamal’s dad was on my phone from El Clasico… bro NEVER LOSES. This was before Yamals pro debut with FCB and I had NO CLUE who he was.”
There are also pictures of Munir in Real Madrid shirt before Yamal made his Barcelona debut at the age of 15 in 2023.
Yamal has been a key player for Barcelona since making his debut, while also playing a vital role in Spain’s European Championship triumph last year.
He has won a series of individual honours which includes the Young player of the tournament in Euro 2024, the prestigious Golden Boy trophy, Kopa trophy and many more.
Lamine Yamal Nasraoui Ebana was born on 13 July 2007 in Esplugues de Llobregat, in the Barcelona metropolitan area in Catalonia, to waitress Sheila Ebana and building painter Mounir Nasraoui.
Yamal’s mother was born in Bata, Equatorial Guinea, and his father is from Larache, Morocco
They gave him a compound given name to honour two people, named Lamine and Yamal, who helped them financially shortly before their son was born.
