Authorities from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a 50-year-old widow, Mrs. Ifeoma Henrietta Ezewuike, for attempting to traffic 1.3 kilograms of cocaine. She disguised herself as a pregnant woman to evade detection.
The incident occurred at a bus terminal in Jibowu, Lagos, where Ezewuike planned to transport the drugs to customers in Abuja. As the owner of Golden Star Creation, a fashion outfit in Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos, and a mother of one, she was caught in the act by NDLEA operatives.

Following her arrest, NDLEA conducted a search at her home in Ago Palace Way. They recovered 200 grams of a cutting agent used in cocaine production.
In her statement to investigators, Ezewuike confessed that she inherited the drug trafficking business from her late husband. She admitted to continuing the illegal operations after his death.
