In a statement posted on its official X account on Wednesday, JAMB advised prospective candidates to prepare by obtaining their National Identification Number (NIN) and securing a unique phone number.

“You can get your NIN ahead and a phone number that has not been previously used to register on our platform to generate your profile code prior to the time,” the board stated.

Additionally, JAMB revealed that the recommended text for the 2025 UTME Use of English paper will be The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba. The board encouraged candidates to familiarise themselves with the text to aid their preparation.

The announcement also directed JAMB staff to update their profiles or register afresh in preparation for the upcoming examination cycle. JAMB emphasised the importance of compliance with protocols to ensure a seamless process.

Further updates, including the registration timeline, start date and guidelines, will be communicated via JAMB’s official platforms. Candidates are urged to stay informed to avoid misinformation.
