Is Steve McMichael Still Alive or Passed Away?
Steve McMichael is alive and continues his fight against ALS, a disease that has severely impacted his mobility and ability to care for himself.
At 66, McMichael has faced significant health challenges during his battle with ALS, including two hospitalizations this year due to infections.
He was in intensive care just days after being elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame but thankfully recovered and returned home.
While ALS typically doesn’t affect cognitive abilities, McMichael, despite losing most of his physical functions, remains aware of his Hall of Fame status. He will witness his induction ceremony on Saturday.
