Comedian and actor Justice Nuagbe, popularly known as Ushbebe, has stirred social media with a passionate call for national prayers for Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba.
In a video message shared via his social media, Ushbebe expressed deep concern over 2Baba’s growing closeness to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru. According to him, the music icon’s behavior around the politician is troubling and suggests there’s more going on than meets the eye.
“I like minding my business, but this one na overdo,” Ushbebe said. “Why dem dey carry legend waka like schoolboy? 2Baba no be tata na. Legend suppose be legend. Free yourself, my brother.”
He accused Natasha of treating the music legend like a child being escorted to school, insisting that 2Baba appears to be under some sort of influence.
“Dem go hold legends hand dey carry am waka like tata wey dem wan go drop for school. Let’s just call for prayers for legend o!” he added.
The comedian’s comments come days after 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, reportedly pleaded with Natasha Osawaru to release her son. In a widely circulated message, she claimed her son was not acting like himself and asked the lawmaker to remove the “beads” she allegedly put on his hand and neck.
With growing concern from fans, family, and now industry colleagues, the spotlight remains firmly fixed on the mysterious relationship between the Afrobeats legend and the rising political figure.
