Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has won the club’s player of the season award following his impressive performances in the 2024-25 season.
The Portuguese midfielder has been a standout star for the Red Devils in a disappointing campaign which has seen them struggle for consistency in the Premier League.
In all competitions, Fernandes has contributed goal-involvements in his 54 appearances with 19 goals, and 19 assists to stand tall among his teammates.
Fernandes beat the duo of Amad Diallo, and Harry Maguire to win the award for the fourth time in his career.
Fernandes is the third Manchester United player to win the award four times alongside David De Gea and Cristiano Ronaldo. He won it in 2020, 2021, and 2024.
Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, Brian McClair, Wayne Rooney, and Ruud van Nistelrooy are the only Manchester United players with multiple Player of the Year awards since it started in 1988.
Harry Amass was named Manchester United’s Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year after a standout 2024/25 campaign.
Bruno Fernandes and his Manchester United teammates will be back in Premier League action against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.
The Red Devils will then take on Tottenham on Wednesday in the final of the Europa League in Spain.
Bruno Fernandes is the joint top scorer in the competition with five goals.
