The alarming incident, which occurred on June 6, 2025, could have ended in tragedy but for what the couple now describes as divine protection. Deola Art Alade took to Instagram shortly after the ordeal to share the harrowing experience and express deep gratitude to God for sparing their lives.
In her post, Deola recounted the moments of shock and disbelief as the car went up in flames. While the vehicle was destroyed, she confirmed that no lives were lost, a reality that, according to her, instantly shifted her perspective on material things.

“Heartfelt gratitude to my Creator for protection, strength, and the resilience to move forward,” she added.
