Celine Dion’s Funeral is trending on social media, but rumors about the singer’s death are false as of this writing, July 2024.

Celine, 56, was seen in Paris this week, defying her painful illness and waving to the crowds despite being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome.

In her Amazon Prime documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, she revealed last month that she almost died from a rare autoimmune neurological disorder that causes painful spasms and muscle stiffness.

The illness also has an impact on her vocal chords, but the singer vows to recover stronger.

“Every time I return to Paris, I remember there’s so much beauty and joy still to experience in the world.” Celine shared when she came to Paris.

“I love Paris, and I’m so happy to be back! Thank you to our wonderful friends at The Louvre!”

Celine closed the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris with a performance from the Eiffel Tower’s first stage, singing Edith Piaf’s L’Hymne A L’amour.

“I’m honored to have performed tonight, for the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony, and so full of joy to be back in one of my very favorite cities!” She shared.

“Most of all, I’m so happy to be celebrating these amazing athletes, with all their stories of sacrifice and determination, pain and perseverance.

“All of you have been so focused on your dream, and whether or not you take home a medal, I hope that being here means that it has come true for you!”

Celine concluded; “You should all be so proud, we know how hard you have worked to be the best of the best. Stay focused, keep going, my heart is with you!”

Celine Dion’s Death Claims

There are videos on YouTube and TikTok claiming Celine Dion died on her way to the hospital, while others say she died in a tragic car and plane crash. This is all false.

The singer is alive.

Some people used Photoshop to alter an image of a woman who was hit by a car and claimed it was Celine Dion. All of this is fake and should be ignored.
