He began his educational journey at Montessori International School and later continued his secondary education at Corona Secondary School, located in Agbara, Ogun State. Burna Boy’s insatiable thirst for knowledge led him to pursue higher education in the United Kingdom. 

In 2008, he enrolled at the University of Sussex, where he studied Media Technology for a year. He then transferred to Oxford Brookes University in 2009, where he pursued a degree in Media Communications and Culture, which he completed in 2010.

Burna Boy discovered his love for music at a young age. He began creating music using Fruity Loops, a production software gifted to him by his classmates at the age of ten. He launched his professional music career in 2010 and released his first single, “Shobeedo,” in 2011.

Since entering the music industry, Burna Boy has released multiple records that have been streamed all around the world. His music has been described as a fusion of Afrobeat, reggae, and dancehall, which has earned him a loyal fan base globally.

In 2017, Burna Boy got signed to a record label under Warner Music Group Worldwide, marking the beginning of a growing fortune for the talented singer.
