1. Burna Boy

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has taken the world by storm. Since his breakout single “Like to Party” in 2012, Burna Boy has consistently delivered hit after hit. His music, often classified as Afro-fusion, blends elements of dancehall, reggae, and Afrobeat.

In 2019, he won the BET Award for Best International Act and received a Grammy nomination for his album “African Giant.” Burna Boy’s energetic performances and powerful lyrics have earned him a massive following both in Nigeria and internationally.

2. Wizkid

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known by his stage name Wizkid, is another giant in the Nigerian music industry. Wizkid’s career took off with the release of his debut album “Superstar” in 2011. His collaboration with Drake on the global hit “One Dance” further catapulted him to international fame.

Wizkid has won numerous awards, including a Grammy for his feature on Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl.” His smooth voice and catchy tunes have made him a household name.

3. Davido

David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, is a key player in the Nigerian music scene.

Davido’s rise to fame began with his 2011 single “Dami Duro,” and he has remained a dominant force ever since. Known for his energetic performances and hit songs like “Fall” and “If,” Davido has a loyal fan base.

He has also won several awards, including the BET Award for Best International Act.

4. Asake

Asake, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade, is also a star in the Nigerian music industry. He has quickly gained popularity with his unique style and catchy songs. Asake’s music often features a mix of Afrobeat and street-hop, making it very relatable and enjoyable for many fans.

Songs like “Mr Money”, “Lonely at the Top”, “Sungba” and “Joha” have earned him a place among Nigeria’s top artists. Asake’s talent and hard work are undeniable, and he is rapidly becoming a favorite.
