A viral video on social media shows a group of alleged supporters of Senate President Godswill Akpabio experiencing an embarrassing moment during their counter-protest against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

This is coming amidst the ongoing political feud between the two lawmakers.

The protests were sparked by Akpoti-Uduaghan’s allegations of sexual harassment against Akpabio, a claim that has sparked lots of attention.

In response, Akpabio’s supporters took to the streets to counter her accusations. However, the demonstration took an unexpected turn when several protesters visibly struggled to read the messages on their own placards.

In the viral footage, two protesters attempted to read their signs but fumbled, leading to moments of laughter from onlookers.

One of the demonstrators even admitted he was unaware of the petition and had simply been handed a sign to hold.

“I didn’t know about the petition, somebody just gave it to me,” the protester confessed.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Senate has suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months, effective from March 6. The suspension is reportedly linked to her allegations against Akpabio.
