Chicago police have charged a man with the murder of a UPS driver in Auburn Gresham.
Authorities arrested 37-year-old Xavier Wilson on Friday.
Wilson faces one count of first-degree murder.

The charges stem from the death of Michael Hunter, age 36.
Police found Hunter dead on the morning of March 22.
He was discovered in the 8000-block of South Hermitage Avenue.
Hunter had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Medical responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Hunter’s family says he was searching for his stolen truck when the shooting happened.
He had just visited his mother before his vehicle went missing.
Hunter was a dedicated father of three.
He and his fiancée had recently purchased a home on the far South Side.
His father, Michael Hunter Sr., described his son as his long-haul driving partner.
The family had offered a $10,000 reward for information in the case.
They found Hunter’s stolen truck the following day, parked three miles away.
Recent History

Carjackings and vehicle thefts frequently lead to physical confrontations on the South Side.
Last year, several residents were injured while attempting to recover stolen property.
Community leaders have warned citizens against tracking stolen vehicles personally.
Police suggest that suspects in these cases are often armed and dangerous.
The 8000-block of South Hermitage has been a focal point for increased police patrols recently.
Neighboring blocks have also reported a spike in early-morning shootings over the last six months.
This incident marks another tragic loss for a community already struggling with gun violence.
The arrest of Wilson brings a sense of relief to the area, but the trauma remains.
Local activists continue to call for more resources to prevent such senseless killings.
