A violent triple shooting rocked Chicago’s Irving Park neighborhood early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:47 a.m. on the Northwest Side.
According to Chicago police, the gunfire broke out in the 2900-block of West Irving Park Road.
Three men were standing outside at the time of the attack.
A woman reportedly approached the group and began shooting in their direction.
One 37-year-old man was hit multiple times during the volley of gunfire.
Emergency responders rushed him to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition.
A 31-year-old man was struck in the right calf.
Medical officials expect him to recover from his injuries.
A third victim, age 38, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
He is also reported to be in stable condition.
Chicago police have not yet released a description of the female shooter.
No arrests have been made as detectives continue to process the scene.
