A violent night in Morgan Park has left one man dead and two others wounded.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 28-year-old Quindon Vincent.
The shooting occurred Wednesday night around 8:39 p.m. in the 11000 block of South Longwood Drive.
Chicago Police officers arrived at the scene to find three men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Vincent, who was shot in the back, was rushed to Advocate Christ Hospital where he later died.

A second victim remains in critical condition after being shot multiple times.
A third man, also 28, is in good condition after suffering a gunshot wound to his foot.
The victim’s brother, Mario, believes the shooting began as an attempted robbery.
Mario described his brother as a hardworking man who was eagerly expecting a new baby.
“I’m really sad, heartbroken that my little brother got killed last night,” Mario told reporters.
He described Quindon as a humble person who frequently cared for his grandparents.
Mario noted that his brother held a concealed carry license and may have shot one of the suspects during the struggle.
Doorbell camera footage captured police treating one of the victims nearby at South Prospect and Homewood.
Despite the exchange of gunfire, Chicago Police report that no suspects are currently in custody.
Mario is now pleading for those involved to come forward and turn themselves in to authorities.
“We have to stop doing this to each other,” Mario said while calling for an end to the city’s violence.
Area Two detectives are currently investigating the shooting.
