A local family is pleading for answers after DNA testing confirmed the death of Isaiah Terrill Hall.
Isaiah was first reported missing on May 30, 2025, after several weeks of silence.
His sister last heard from him during a missed phone call at 2:30 a.m. on April 27, 2025.
Despite her immediate attempts to call him back, the line went unanswered for days.
A missing person report was filed in June, including a description of Isaiah’s specific facial hair.
Shortly after the report, detectives notified the family of a potential match at the Medical Examiner’s office.
The remains, consisting of only a head and a femur, were discovered half-buried in a hole near the train tracks on East 93rd Street.
Tragically, the body was found missing both arms and legs.
The family underwent two separate DNA tests to ensure a certain match.
On Friday, January 9, 2026, the second DNA test returned positive, confirming the remains belonged to Isaiah.
Family members describe Isaiah as a deeply respectful and honest man.
He was known as a peaceful person who actively avoided confrontation.
“He did not like confrontation at all,” his sister shared, highlighting his gentle nature.
Isaiah had a passion for listening to music and loved to laugh with his friends and family.
Now, his grieving relatives are calling on the Chicago community to help find the people responsible for this brutal act.
“Chicago needs to be aware of the people we are living amongst,” his sister stated while seeking justice.
