Police have issued an urgent alert after three women robbed a passenger at knifepoint on a CTA train in the Rush & Division neighborhood yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened in the 800 block of North State Street on Sunday, December 22, 2025, at approximately 3:27 p.m.
According to investigators, the three suspects confronted a 25-year-old woman while she was riding the train.
One of the offenders produced a knife before the group robbed the victim of her belongings.
Police are searching for three individuals described as:

Suspect 1: A female wearing a black jacket, pink pants, and white gym shoes.

Suspect 2: A female wearing a pink jacket, black pants, and grey gym shoes.

Suspect 3: A female with a nose ring, wearing a black jacket and light blue jeans.
The 18th District (Near North) police recommend the following if you are traveling on the CTA:

Stay Alert: Always know your train car number and the direction you are traveling.

Don’t Fight Back: If confronted, stay calm and do not pursue the attackers.

Use Emergency Tools: Press the emergency button on the train and alert the transit attendant immediately.

Call 911: Provide a detailed description of the suspects and your exact location.
