A 26-year-old woman is in custody after a violent spree in the Loop on Monday night left four people injured, according to Chicago Police.
The attacks began on a CTA train in the 100 block of North State Street. Authorities say Jada Beatty used a glass bottle to strike two women, aged 19 and 32, while they were riding the train.
The violence continued outside the transit station.
Police report that Beatty then attacked two older pedestrians, a 66-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman.
Serious Charges Filed
Beatty faces multiple felony charges following the incident:

Four counts of aggravated battery.

Two counts of aggravated battery to a transit passenger/employee.

Two counts of aggravated battery to a victim over the age of 60.
The condition of the victims has not been released, but police confirmed Beatty was apprehended shortly after the attacks.
