A 77-year-old Chicago woman shared an emotional reunion this week with the firefighters credited with saving her life during a devastating house fire.
Beatrice Davidson, a breast cancer survivor, met with the first responders who pulled her from her burning home in November. The reunion offered a heartfelt moment of thanks for the rescue that nearly didn’t happen.
Fire crews responded to the residential blaze and successfully navigated the dangerous conditions to locate Davidson inside. Her rescue was a critical, life-saving effort.
The reunion was a chance for Davidson to offer personal gratitude to the men and women who risked their lives for her.
