Police in Downers Grove are actively searching for a man who reportedly broke into Downers Grove North High School early Wednesday and attempted to rob two employees.
The incident occurred when the suspect gained entry to the school through an unlocked window. Once inside, police say the man demanded money from a maintenance worker.
A second school employee then entered the area, causing the suspect to flee the building. No injuries were reported during the incident.
