Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has responded to 2Face Idibia’s troubling call for help, which he shared on Instagram earlier this week.
2Face had posted a brief message on his Instagram Story that read, “Help me,” marking his first public comment since the controversy involving him and his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, began trending online.
Reacting to the post, Teni shared a video on Instagram where she called on fellow musicians Timaya and Kcee to join her in supporting the music icon.
She captioned the video: “2face my legend, we’re coming to save you.”
The singer’s distress comes amid reports that his marital troubles escalated in the United Kingdom, where he and his wife allegedly had a heated argument that drew police intervention and resulted in his brief arrest.
The issue resurfaced during an Instagram Live chat with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where the couple was seen arguing on camera, an incident that further intensified speculation about serious problems in their marriage.
