Nigerian music sensation Tiwa Savage recently stirred conversation by hinting that the Nigerian music scene might face its own “Diddy moment,” referencing American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been embroiled in allegations of sex trafficking.

Tiwa made the cryptic remark during an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, where she shared her concerns about the industry’s undercurrents.

“I think Nigerian music might have our own Diddy moment,” she said.

Her comment drew immediate attention, particularly in light of federal allegations against Diddy.

Earlier this year, U.S. federal authorities seized items during a raid on Diddy’s Beverly Hills mansion, including drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil, allegedly linked to gatherings termed “freak offs.”

Tiwa’s statement has led to discussions across social media, with fans debating whether similar issues might surface in Nigeria.
