Cook County Sheriff’s Police are searching for two suspects after a brazen restaurant burglary in unincorporated Wheeling Township.
Officers responded to a call on the 700 block of North River Road around 11 a.m. on January 6.
Investigators learned that two individuals forced their way into the business earlier that morning.
The suspects were seen wearing masks and gloves during the break-in.
Once inside, the pair targeted an ATM located within the restaurant.
Police say the burglars broke into the machine and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Cook County Sheriff’s Police Detectives are currently leading the investigation.
Authorities are asking the public for help identifying those involved in the crime.
