Super Eagles Players Shine In Europe, Dessers Scores 23rd goal of season, Iwobi, Tella Bag Assist

Super Eagles stars enjoyed a prolific day on Saturday in various European leagues as Cyril Dessers scored his 23rd goal of the season for Rangers.

Dessers, who has enjoyed a stunning season in Scotland was on target against St Mirren in a 2-2 draw at the SMISA Stadium, Paisley.

He opened the scoring for Rangers with a composed finish three minutes from before halftime.

It was Dessers 13th goal of the season in the Scottish League, and 23rd in all competitions.

In England, Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, recorded his sixth assist of the season for Fulham in their 2-1 win over Southampton.

Iwobi has scored nine goals, and recorded six assists for Fulham in 34 Premier League matches this season.

Calvin Bassey played the whole duration of the encounter for Fulham.

In Germany, Nathan Tella recorded an assist in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-0 win over Augsburg at the Bay Arena.

He teed up Patrick Schick for the game’s opening goal in the 13th minute.

Victor Boniface was an unused substitute for the duration of the game.

Frank Onyeka played the whole duration of the encounter for Augsburg.
