Emmanuel Obasi, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has made a disturbing public appeal, accusing her of plotting to take his life and denying him access to their children for over a decade.
In a heartfelt and emotional video that has since gone viral on social media, Obasi opened up about his painful ordeal. He claimed that Judy Austin, now married to popular actor Yul Edochie as his second wife, has not only cut off all communication between him and their children but may also be plotting something far more sinister.
“I’m making this video because I’m in pain,” Obasi said, his voice filled with anguish. “I didn’t see the reason I will marry someone legally and God bless us with two kids. And for over 10 years now, I have never laid my eyes on my children.”
According to Obasi, Judy took their two children with her and has kept them hidden ever since, completely severing his ties with them. He expressed grave concern over their whereabouts and well-being, raising doubts about whether they are still alive.
“Judy Austin and I have two children together, and she made away with my children, they are nowhere to be found. I don’t even know if those children are still alive,” he said.
He explained that his suspicions were heightened by Judy’s continued social media activity, where she frequently shares images and updates about the children she has with Yul Edochie but never posts or mentions the ones she had with him.
“So, it looks suspicious from the look of things. I’m not even sure if the children are still alive,” Obasi stated.
In a shocking twist, he went on to accuse Judy of planning to “kpai” (a slang term for kill) him in secret, prompting his urgent call for help from concerned Nigerians and influential figures.
“So I’m begging people of goodwill home and abroad to come and help me please, because I found out that she wanted to kpai me secretly. I don’t know what her aim is all about so I’m calling on VeryDarkMan to please come to my rescue because this is no longer funny, I’m calling on all Nigerians to help me,” he cried.
Obasi’s plea has stirred conversations online, as many Nigerians weigh in on the emotional and legal implications of his claims. Reports have previously stated that Obasi married Judy when she was just 19 and even funded her university education, making the alleged betrayal even more painful for him.
As of now, Judy Austin has not issued a public response to the allegations. The situation continues to develop, with many observers urging authorities and child protection services to intervene to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.
