Nigerian singer and songwriter Seyi Shay has made a shocking revelation about her former personal assistant, alleging that the young woman had an affair with Tiwa Savage’s ex-husband, Teebillz.
The “Right Now” crooner opened up about the incident during a recent podcast appearance, where she spoke candidly about the real story behind her long-standing feud with Tiwa Savage.
Seyi Shay, who is now a mother of one, recounted how her personal assistant made the confession shortly after the viral altercation between her and Tiwa Savage in 2021.
“I was pregnant at the time,” Seyi Shay recalled. “We were at a bar when my P.A. opened up to me, crying and apologizing. She told me she had been seeing Tiwa’s ex-husband, Teebillz. She said she thought that might have been the reason Tiwa was angry with me and that it had affected my career.”
The singer revealed that the confession caught her completely off guard, as she had no prior knowledge of the affair or any reason to suspect it.
“I was shocked,” she admitted emotionally. “If it were me, I’d have felt hurt too. But I genuinely didn’t know anything about it.”
