There have been reactions on social media, especially from Nigerians, after news broke of Ronaldo in Lagos, but the football superstar was nowhere in Lagos, Nigeria, but in Portugal.
Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates landed in Lagos, Portugal, to continue their pre-season preparations for the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League season.
The players could be seen training on Al-Nassr FC’s social media pages. “Day 3 in Lagos, Preparations continue,” the post reads.
The team moved from Lisbon, where they secured a 2-1 victory over French club Toulouse, with Ronaldo scoring one of the goals.
