Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has made shocking allegations against her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of rape, manipulation, and emotional abuse.
In a series of emotional posts shared in the early hours of Sunday, the actress claimed that the billionaire politician used her past drug use to control and discredit her while attempting to alienate her from her loved ones.
“Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this. You’ve always tried to cut them off because of the bond we share, and now you’re trying to make them look bad for no reason,” she wrote.
Regina admitted to past drug use but said Nwoko had weaponized it to distract the public from deeper issues in their relationship.
“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us? You rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs’ just to make me look bad and cover up the real problem,” she stated.
The actress further alleged that Nwoko’s real intent was to isolate her emotionally and strip her of any support system.
“You want to arrest everyone around me so that I’ll have no one left, no friend, no safe place to turn to. Then when I’m broken, I’ll be forced to come back to you,” she said.
Regina also accused the senator of sexual assault and forced confinement, claiming he often had her injected with drugs meant for patients with bipolar disorder.
“You liked me high because, in your words, I was ‘sexier’ that way. You forced yourself on me whenever I said no, locked me up, seized my phones, and called me mentally unstable. But once I pretended to agree with you, suddenly I was fine again,” she alleged.
She went further to claim that Nwoko subjected his other wives to similar conditions.
“All your wives and ex-wives are on drugs. Why don’t you tell people why that is?” she questioned.
Addressing his claims of financial sacrifice, Regina declared that her time, energy, and career sacrifices far outweighed any material gifts.
“No amount of money can equal the value of the years I gave you. And for the record, we were never legally married, no documents were signed. Marriage is not by force. Love is not by force,” she wrote.
In a separate post, she hinted at a sextape allegedly used against her and vowed to take the fight to court.
“Yes, everyone now knows ‘Regina Daniels did drugs’ because that’s the story my husband wanted. But I will rewrite my story. My name may be ruined now, but not forever. You can’t control me anymore,” she declared.
Regina’s revelations come shortly after Nwoko accused her family of enabling her alleged drug use and harassing his household, escalating an already tense public feud between the actress and the politician.
