Founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, has spoken publicly following the recent affair allegations levelled against him by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.
The clergyman addressed the issue during a Sunday service, days after the actress went online to accuse him of betraying her amid reports of his impending marriage to another woman.
Ogala had claimed she was romantically involved with the pastor, alleging that they had an intimate relationship and that she once had an abortion for him. Her emotional outburst triggered widespread reactions across social media, with netizens expressing mixed opinions on the controversy.
While Pastor Okafor did not directly mention Ogala’s name during the service, many church members and online observers believe his comments were a response to the ongoing allegations.
In his sermon, the pastor criticised what he described as the arrogance and disrespectful behaviour of a certain lady, questioning her readiness for marriage and her attitude toward people. He also condemned promiscuity, suggesting that such conduct could make marriage difficult.
In his words:
“You are just being arrogant to people, talking to people anyhow, you say ‘I no dey respect anybody o, I no well’. Yet you’re a young lady you’re not married na you dey talk like that. Which man wan marry who no well? Which man wan marry you when they know you have slept with different men? God forbid!”
The remarks have since sparked fresh debate online, with many interpreting them as Pastor Okafor’s indirect response to the allegations made by the actress.
