It’s one thing to earn the respect of your peers, but when a Nollywood legend like Segun Arinze showers you with praise, it’s a different level of recognition. Uzor ‘Odogwu’ Arukwe, Nollywood’s latest leading man, couldn’t hide his emotions after seeing Arinze’s glowing endorsement of his work.

In a heartfelt tweet, Arukwe wrote, “This is the most humbling video I’ve come across on the internet today. Hearing a veteran like Uncle Segun whom I respect so much sing my praise really put me in my feelings. Thank you so much Uncle Segun for your kind words, this video made my day.”

The video in question was an interview with QED NG, where Arinze lauded Arukwe’s performance in Love In Every Word and shared how producers at The Masked King premiere refused to start the event until Arukwe arrived. The moment, which saw fans erupt in cheers as the actor walked in, solidified his status as one of Nollywood’s most sought-after stars.

Arinze’s endorsement wasn’t just about Arukwe’s talent, it was about his journey. “He has worked his way up the ladder. He finally got what is called The Actor’s Chunk,” Arinze had said. And now, the recognition is pouring in from all corners.

For Arukwe, this acknowledgment is more than just a compliment, it’s validation. It’s proof that years of dedication, resilience, and hard work have paid off. As the industry continues to take notice, one thing is clear: Uzor Arukwe isn’t just a rising star anymore, he’s a certified Nollywood’s Starboy.

With fans rallying behind him and industry giants giving their blessings, the only question left is: how much higher can he go?
