Senator Ned Nwoko has finally broken his silence on the viral domestic violence allegations leveled against him by his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
In a lengthy statement posted on his official Instagram page on Sunday, the Delta North lawmaker firmly denied ever abusing Regina, instead accusing her of being under the influence of drugs and alcohol, a struggle he claimed has strained their marriage in recent times.
According to Nwoko, Regina’s alleged erratic behavior led to what he described as “unprovoked carnage and rampage” at their family home while he was away. He alleged that the actress destroyed property, attacked members of his domestic staff, and left significant damage in her wake.
“She was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko stated. “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
The senator shared a video showing damaged cars and shattered windows within his residence, claiming they were destroyed during Regina’s outburst. He further alleged that the actress had threatened to harm their resident nurse, whom he accused of exposing her alleged substance use.
Nwoko said that after one of such incidents, he took their son, Moon, to the hospital for safety, adding that Regina’s “drug suppliers” identified as individuals named Sammy and Ann were enabling her destructive behavior.
“The truth is, I have set a clear condition for her to accept rehab in Asokoro or outside Nigeria, especially Jordan, where she will not have access to drugs,” he said. “While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier.”
Nwoko also emphasized that none of his other wives had ever accused him of violence, insisting that Regina was the aggressor in their ongoing conflict.
“Regina is the violent one here,” he added. “She has slapped and hit three staff members in the past 48 hours and destroyed property for no just cause.”
As of press time, Regina Daniels has not publicly responded to her husband’s claims. However, the couple’s ongoing dispute has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with fans expressing shock and concern over the allegations from both sides.
