With her latest visit to the New Afrika Shrine, Naomi Campbell joins a growing list of global figures who recognize and celebrate Fela Kuti’s timeless influence.

The likes of Emmanuel Macron. The French President made history in 2018 as the first sitting European leader to visit the shrine.

Erykah Badu, the Grammy-winning American singer, has visited the shrine and openly expressed her admiration for Fela’s music.

D’Angelo, the American R&B star, paid homage to Fela’s legacy with a visit.

Jidenna, the Nigerian-American artist, embraced his African roots as he visited the shrine.
