Nigerian music icon Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia has gone public with serious allegations against members of his own family, accusing them of meddling so deeply in his personal life that they contributed to the breakdown of his marriage with actress Annie Idibia.
In a deeply emotional video circulating online, 2Baba claimed that the same pattern of interference is now threatening his relationship with his current partner, Natasha who, according to him, has begun receiving death threats amid the escalating family drama.
The legendary singer said his family “destroyed” his marriage through constant intrusion, false stories, and internal conflicts, and warned that their behaviour is repeating itself in ways that endanger Natasha’s wellbeing.
2Baba also dismissed rumours that he is mentally unstable, stressing that he is fully sound, capable of making decisions, and not in any form of danger contrary to narratives he believes are being deliberately pushed.
Expressing deep frustration, he said those claiming to be “protecting” him are in fact inflicting emotional harm and escalating the crisis to a disturbing level.
He pleaded with his family and the public to stop the harassment, stop spreading unverified claims, and allow him to live his life in peace.
2Baba hinted that more revelations will be made soon but said he could no longer stay silent as the situation continues to spiral.
