Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken her silence on the crisis rocking her marriage to billionaire politician Senator Ned Nwoko, confirming that her family is currently facing serious turmoil.
In a heartfelt video shared on her official Instagram page, the 24-year-old actress emotionally addressed her followers, revealing that despite her attempts to remain silent, she could no longer hold back as the situation escalated.
Regina, who for the first time referred to Nwoko as her “ex-husband,” said she was determined to fight for her children and protect her family’s dignity, even if it meant raising them alone.
“My family is actually in turmoil, it’s crazy, but we will definitely come out of it,” she began in the video. “What gave me the courage to do this video is seeing how my family and everyone is fighting for me. My brother, mum, and my sisters, everybody is fighting.”
The actress went on to commend her younger brother, who reportedly initiated an online petition in her defense, which quickly gained massive support within hours.
“My brother started a petition, and in hours, there were a lot of people signing it,” she continued. “I’m going to fight for my children, Ned. I tried to be calm, I tried to let go, but I will fight and take them. I will train them with or without your support. You know that, my ex-husband.”
Her revelation marks the first time Regina Daniels has publicly acknowledged the collapse of her marriage, following weeks of speculation about a growing rift between the couple.
The saga took a dramatic turn earlier in the week when the actress accused Nwoko of allegedly using his political influence to order the arrest of her siblings, in what she described as a ploy to intimidate her into returning to the marriage.
The emotional video has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from fans and fellow celebrities. While some have expressed sympathy and solidarity with the actress, others have urged both parties to handle their differences privately for the sake of their children.
Regina Daniels, who married Senator Nwoko in 2019, shares two sons with the Delta-born lawmaker. Once celebrated as one of Nollywood’s most glamorous unions, their relationship now appears to be crumbling under the public eye.
Despite the emotional weight of her message, Regina ended her video on a note of courage and faith, assuring her supporters that she would rise above the current storm and do whatever it takes to protect her children.
