Chicago police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 58-year-old woman last seen on the West Side.
Michelle Grace vanished nearly two months ago after leaving a residence in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
She was last seen on December 7, 2025, leaving the 0-100 block of South Albany Avenue.
Grace is described as a Black woman standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds.
She has brown eyes, black hair, and a dark complexion.
Detectives noted that she has a specific tattoo on her lower back that reads “JOE PROPERTY.”

The Chicago Police Department has officially classified this as a high-priority missing person case.
Area 4 Special Victims Unit detectives are currently leading the investigation into her disappearance.
Neighborhood Safety
The East Garfield Park area has seen a troubling rise in missing person reports over the last six months.
Local community activists have expressed growing concern regarding the safety of residents near the South Albany Avenue corridor.
Just blocks away, police recently investigated a separate disappearance involving a local man who was later found safe.
However, the passage of time since Grace was last seen on December 7 has heightened the urgency for new leads.
Neighbors describe the block where she was last seen as a busy residential area often filled with foot traffic.
Police are now canvassing local businesses for any potential security footage from early December.
The CPD continues to urge anyone who may have seen Grace or spoke with her on that day to come forward.
Every detail, no matter how small, could be the key to bringing her home to her family.
