Authorities arrested a man from Minnesota after he posted a video on TikTok that threatened the life of US Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Tyler Maxon Avalos, 30, from St. Paul, faces federal charges for sending a threat across state lines.
The video showed a wanted poster of Bondi with a red dot like a sniper scope on her forehead.
It offered a $45,000 reward for her “dead or alive, preferably dead.”
The caption read, “cough cough when they don’t serve us then what?*” Avalos used the username “Wacko” with an anarchist symbol.
A person from Michigan saw the post and tipped off the FBI on October 9, 2025.
Agents traced it to Avalos and arrested him on October 16, 2025.
He is charged with transmitting a threat to injure someone, which could lead to up to five years in prison.
Avalos has a past record of crimes.
In 2022, he was convicted of felony stalking in Minnesota.
In 2016, he faced misdemeanor domestic assault in Minnesota and felony domestic battery in Florida.
